Ellis Farrier Service was founded on a simple belief: every horse deserves a farrier who genuinely cares about their long-term soundness, not just getting in and out quickly. Based in Carthage, Missouri, we bring professional hoof care directly to farms and stables across Southwest Missouri.
Over 12 years of hands-on experience has taught us that no two horses are alike. A one-size-fits-all approach to hoof care leads to problems down the road. We take the time to evaluate each horse individually — looking at their conformation, movement, work demands, and hoof history before picking up a rasp.
